Job Overview
We are seeking an organized, proactive Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and successful execution of surveying projects while supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the company.
The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating surveying projects from initiation through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role serves as the primary point of coordination between clients, field crews, office staff, and vendors while also supporting operational functions that help keep the business running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate survey projects from start to finish.
- Communicate with clients regarding project schedules, progress, and deliverables.
- Coordinate field crews, office staff, and subcontractors to meet project deadlines.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates.
- Identify and resolve project issues to minimize delays.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and inspections for company vehicles.
- Maintain inventory and organization of survey equipment, tools, and supplies.
- Schedule calibration, maintenance, and repairs for survey equipment.
- Track equipment availability and ensure field crews are properly equipped.
- Coordinate purchasing of equipment, materials, and office supplies.
- Work with vendors and service providers to maintain operational efficiency.
- Assist with developing and improving company processes and workflows.
- Support company safety initiatives and regulatory compliance.
- Perform additional operational and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous project management experience, preferably in surveying, construction, engineering, or a related industry.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with fleet, equipment, or asset management is a plus.
- Knowledge of land surveying operations is preferred but not required.

- Budget and resource management experience.
- Vendor and subcontractor coordination.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with survey software, GIS, or AutoCAD is beneficial.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
