Lakeside Exteriors is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Exterior Construction Manager with experience in window installation to lead and oversee exterior remodeling projects. This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
This role is pivotal in managing all phases of exterior remodeling, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in strict compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on construction site experience, exceptional project management skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality exterior solutions.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in construction, home improvement, or related field
- Previous window installation experience
- Knowledge of installation practices and building codes
- Proven ability to lead crews and manage field operations
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Door, or exterior remodeling experience
- Installation or field service leadership background
- Experience improving team performance and operational efficiency
- Knowledge of Leap CRM and CompanyCam preferred
Responsibilities:

- Manage residential home improvement installation projects from measurement through completion
- Coordinate with Office Team to ensure correct building permits are applied for, ensuring permit requirements are met, and close out building permits after job completion.
- Complete small Window Installation and Replacement projects
- Coordinate project schedules, materials, and installation crews
- Serve as the primary communication point for homeowners throughout the project
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and safety compliance.
- Provide accurate measurements, scopes, and timelines
- Identify risks and proactively solve project challenges
- Supervise and support subcontractor installation crews and foremen
- Assign projects based on team strengths and availability
- Coach teams to improve performance and reduce service issues
- Maintain accurate job files and documentation
- Partner with Sales and Office Teams to provide quality customer service
- Identify trends and reduce service calls through training and process improvement
- Ensure compliance with building codes and company standards
- Coordinate project activities across multiple teams, ensuring seamless communication and efficient project execution.
- Manage change orders, and documentation to maintain clear project scope and expectations.

Pay: $71,325.09 - $82,904.92 per year
