Position Overview
TTR Sotheby’s International Realty is seeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Transaction Processor to assist with the processing of closings for our brokerage. This is a back-office role focused on the accurate and timely processing of settlements, commission disbursements, and supporting documentation — the paperwork that follows every closed transaction across our DC, Maryland, and Virginia markets.
You will work from settlement statements and closing packages, enter and reconcile data in our brokerage management system, support commission processing, and keep transaction records clean and well-organized. The position is ideal for someone who takes pride in detail-driven work within a fast-paced, service-driven organization.
This in-person role is based in North Potomac, MD.
Salary Range: Starting at $65,000–$70,000 per year plus benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry for settlements, rentals, and brokerage transactions
- Support commission processing by gathering, organizing, and verifying supporting documentation
- Maintain accurate and organized transaction and financial records
- Respond to internal requests for transaction documentation and supporting information
- Assist with administrative and operational tasks within the brokerage operations function as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a settlement, title, escrow, or closely related back-office real estate role
- Familiarity with residential closing documents (settlement statements/ALTA, commission disbursement authorizations, closing packages)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Comfort learning and working in brokerage/transaction management software — training will be provided on our internal system
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience a plus
