Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team committed to improving the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will lead behavioral intervention programs, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Your expertise will help foster meaningful progress in clients’ communication, social skills, and independence, while ensuring compliance with all privacy and medical documentation standards. Duties
- Conduct behavioral psychological assessments and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies
- Design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans that promote skill acquisition and reduce maladaptive behaviors
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to track progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Provide clinical supervision to behavior technicians and support staff, ensuring adherence to ABA principles and ethical standards
- Perform client assessments including intake evaluations, diagnostic evaluations for autism spectrum disorders, and ongoing progress reviews
- Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support clients’ goals across home, school, and community settings
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing sensitive client information with confidentiality
- Support clients through behavioral health services that enhance their quality of life by applying evidence-based behavioral health practices
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and functional assessment methods
- Proficiency in data collection tools, medical terminology, and medical records management
- Ability to perform behavioral assessments such as FBA and functional assessment to inform intervention strategies
- Excellent client communication skills to engage families and educational teams effectively
- Experience working in home-based settings or school environments supporting children with disabilities
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards for patient care and medical documentation practices
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical supervision while maintaining high ethical standards in behavior analysis practice
