Overview:
The purpose of this job is to help ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils in a clean and sanitized condition. In addition, this job requires that the employee keep the machine dishwashing station, dish room, preparation, and storage areas clean and sanitized.
Responsibilities:
- Willingness to follow instructions and accept constructive feedback from departmental supervisors/ managers

Work in an environment that at times can be hot and humid

Maintain a neat and orderly work station

Know and comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies, and guest interaction

Report to work on time and in complete uniform

Assist in other areas as needed

Adheres to daily/weekly/ monthly cleaning schedules in compliance with all departmental standards

Completion of any task requested by a supervisor or member of the management team
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Steward or Dishwasher preferred

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a diverse team environment

Understanding of basic kitchen sanitation

Must be available to work a schedule which will include holidays, weekends, and varied shift times

Must be able to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods of time

Ability to converse with guests and employees in English.
