Gardenia Los Gatos is the flagship location for Gardenia Coffee Inc. Nestled in a historic Victorian style mansion, Gardenia is situated in a prime location – the heart of the bustling Los Gatos downtown.
We aim to welcome patrons like close friends, hosting them in a space with a pleasant and warm ambience. Gardenia will serve as a community hub and clubhouse for the local community, helping foster genuine connection through weekly events and local partners. Compensation:
- $20+ per hour total pay, commensurate with experience and performance

Job Responsibilities:
- As part of the barista team, consistently provide the best specialty coffee and drinks with the best hospitality
- Taking orders and receiving payments
- Having positive communication with guests
- Educating guests with coffee knowledge and Gardenia program
- Serve guests as needed in the unique coffee house and restaurant setting.
- Maintaining a clean and sanitised working environment.
- Check stocks in a regular basis.
- Work as one team; collaborate with other Baristas, bartenders, and other FOH staff, and kitchen staff.
- Being punctual and maintaining regular and consistent attendance.
- Being flexible with shifts and hours.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
- Follow all Gardenia culture, rules, operational policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- experience of working at specialty coffee shops.
- knowledge of coffee.
- Proficient in operating espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment.
- Great latte art skill
- Great tea skill
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality and efficiency.
