Duties
- Perform precise brake system repairs, including replacing pads, rotors, calipers, and hydraulic components using automotive diagnostic tools and hand tools.
- Conduct wheel alignments utilizing advanced alignment equipment to ensure proper vehicle handling and tire longevity.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical components related to braking and suspension systems.
- Diagnose issues related to automotive engine systems, powertrain components, and vehicle electrical systems with a focus on ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration.
- Utilize mechanical repair techniques on various vehicle types, including standard passenger cars and heavy-duty trucks with diesel engines.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics to perform engine repairs, powertrain maintenance, and vehicle system diagnostics.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete repair reports accurately, and communicate findings clearly to customers.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong background in brake systems and wheel alignment procedures.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools essential for troubleshooting complex vehicle issues.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, diesel engine repair, engine technology, and powertrain components preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in using power tools, hand tools, and manual handling techniques for heavy lifting safely.
- Ability to interpret schematics and automotive wiring diagrams accurately to facilitate efficient repairs.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients.
- Valid mechanic license or certification is highly desirable; ongoing training in automotive diagnostics is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
