Job Description: The Performance Group is seeking experienced PACKER S for a refrigerated food manufacturing facility in Elizabethtown, PA! The position s are temp-to-hire, open to both English and Spanish speakers, and provide EXCELLENT overtime opportunities! Schedule: 1 st Shift: 7a-6p (Mon-Sat) Pay Rate: $17.50/ hr Responsibilities : Set up inspection bins and trash cans before production start Squeegee the standing water on the floor before production start Packing of finished product into boxes according to box pack size Inspect bags for nonconforming seals. When running sauce, make sure the bag has sauce, report immediately when it does not have sauce to Machine Operator, Supervisor or QA. Notify QA/Operator of any irregularity about the bag/product. Verify print information. (date, lot, line, etc.) Open bags with bad seals when line is down Assist in other tasks if needed when lines are down Clean work area when line is down Assist in daily sanitation of packing room. Qualifications : Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work in a refrigerated environment Ability and willingness to work 6-day, 11-hr shift Ability to speak/read/ understand English or Spanish Ability and willingness to work within a GMP-regulated environment
