American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric OR position requiring a valid NC or compact RN license and a minimum of one year of nursing experience.

Pediatric Operating Room (OR) setting within a hospital environment
-
Provides nursing care to a pediatric patient population with complex clinical needs
-
Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact license recognized in NC
-
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA or ARC)

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required

Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN or MSN preferred

Two professional references required for consideration

Coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized patient care plans

Assesses patient and family readiness to learn and provides appropriate education for the pediatric population

Participates in unit-level performance improvement activities and professional development initiatives
