Equipment Technician
We are seeking an experienced Food Service equipment technician for a specialty position in San Francisco. The job title is Meiko Service Agent, and this role includes responsibility for:
- Preventive Maintenance
- Repairs and Installations
- Customer Service
- Training of our Authorized Service Agents on how to repair/install our equipment
This position includes a base salary, plus commissions on all PM's, Repairs, Installs and Training over the calendar year. It also includes a generous benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matched, and other voluntary benefit products). A vehicle is also provided, along with a gas card and all equipment needed to set up a remote (home-based) office.
Requirements:
- 4 years of electrical, plumbing, or technical trade school experience OR equivalent work experience in foodservice equipment repair. Warewashing repair experience in a huge plus
- A clean motor vehicle record
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug screen Must be able to routinely travel within a 100 mile radius of San Francisco and occasionally travel a further distance to service our customers
