Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection systems, with expertise in installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire sprinkler systems. Duties
- Install, maintain, and inspect fire sprinkler systems according to local codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure proper installation.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for project scheduling and management.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to coordinate tasks and timelines.
- Supervise junior technicians and provide training on best practices for fire sprinkler installation and maintenance.
- Prepare detailed reports on inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fire sprinkler installation or related construction field.
- A Colorado State Fire Sprinkler Fitter license.
- A Denver Fire Sprinkler Fitter license.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Experience in quality control processes within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to fire safety and construction site operations.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
