About the Role
We are seeking a driven, highly organized, and collaborative Construction Project Manager specialized in Plumbing and Mechanical trades. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our office staff, field superintendents, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality commercial projects on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate has a deep foundation in mechanical contracting, sharp administrative skills, and a proactive approach to solving complex project challenges.
Key Responsibilities
· Project Controls: Review, track, and process engineering submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
· Financial & Schedule Oversight: Manage project budgets, monitor labor costs, and track construction schedules to meet milestones.
· Field & Vendor Coordination: Coordinate, schedule, and oversee mechanical subcontractors and vendors on-site.
· Team Collaboration: Partner closely with office administrators, estimators, site foremen, and field supervision to ensure clear, seamless communication.
· Plan Mastery: Thoroughly interpret blueprints, architectural designs, structural layouts, and engineering specifications.
Requirements & Qualifications
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of dedicated project management experience within the plumbing and mechanical trades.
· Technical Skills: Proficient with computers and industry-standard project management/scheduling software.
· Office Skills: Strong administrative capabilities, including professional email communication, document organization, and report generation.
· Core Abilities: Advanced blueprint and specification reading.
· Soft Skills: A team-first attitude with an absolute emphasis on creative problem-solving and critical thinking.
