Helping Hands Warming Hearts is looking for a caring individual to provide various in-home services including:
Personal care
Companionship/sitter
Caregiver respite
Applicants must be reliable, mature, caring and people- oriented, have excellent interpersonal skills, hold a valid driver’s license, have reliable transportation, must have a cell phone. We offer flexible hours, competitive wages, training and ongoing support.
Requirements:
- Must be able to clearly speak, read, write and understand the English language
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in care of a home and experience in working with or caring for people is REQUIRED
- Must have reliable vehicle
- Must have experience in mobile transfers
- Previous Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer's clients a plus
- Ability to communicate with clients in a courteous manner and treat them with respect
- 1-2 years working with the elderly
- Reliable transportation and possess valid drivers license and current auto insurance a plus
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check
- CPR training preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate caregiving and support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and observe patients' health and well-being, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Ensure a safe and clean living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs, including driving them to appointments.
- Maintain CPR certification and apply first aid as necessary while providing care.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
