Construction Staking/Layout CAD Technician – Now Hiring
Carlson, Brigance & Doering is growing and looking to add a motivated Construction Staking/Layout CAD Technician to our South Austin team.
If you have experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and enjoy working on residential and commercial development construction layout projects, we’d like to talk with you.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare survey drawings from field-collected data
- Draft:
- Point Stakeout Maps
- Process cut/fill sheets based on engineered plans
- Prepare exhibits for asbuilt conditions
- Communicate with contractors daily
- Work directly with:
- Field Crews
- PE and other support staff
- Project team leaders
- Support a wide variety of land development projects across Central and South Texas
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Survey drafting experience preferred
- Residential development/construction experience is required
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
