We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Industrial Cleaning Specialist to maintain cleanliness and safety across large-scale industrial facilities. In this role, you will perform comprehensive cleaning tasks that ensure a safe, hygienic, and efficient environment. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute significantly to the smooth operation of our industrial spaces, supporting overall facility maintenance and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Execute thorough cleaning of industrial areas, including machinery, floors, and workstations, utilizing appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Perform specialized floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing to maintain optimal surface condition.
- Conduct janitorial duties including trash removal, restroom sanitation, window cleaning, and dusting to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Assist with custodial responsibilities related to facilities maintenance, ensuring all areas meet health and safety regulations.
- Support porters or maintenance teams in moving equipment or materials as needed for efficient workflow.
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies used, and inspections performed for accountability.
Experience
- Prior experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment operation is essential.
- Experience with floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing is a plus.
- Background in janitorial or custodial work within industrial or large commercial environments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with safety standards related to industrial cleaning practices and use of cleaning chemicals.
- Previous porter or maintenance support experience can be beneficial for team collaboration.
