Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials including hardwood, vinyl, tile, epoxy, and carpet across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine the correct installation procedures.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing subfloors to ensure proper adhesion of flooring materials.
- Install various types of flooring such as hardwood, vinyl, tile, epoxy coatings, carpet, and laminate with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and secure flooring materials according to specifications.
- Perform floor refinishing tasks including sanding, buffing, sealing, caulking, and water damage restoration to enhance durability and appearance.
- Follow building material installation safety compliance standards rigorously on all construction sites.
- Assist in remodeling projects by installing fixtures, trim carpentry elements, cabinetry, and performing general handyman tasks as needed.
Experience
- Proven 2 years installer experience with a focus on flooring installation or related trades such as carpentry or remodeling.
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans.
- Hands-on experience with epoxy floor installation, tile laying, hardwood floor installation, vinyl floor installation, and carpet installation.
- Knowledge of building material handling including manual handling techniques for heavy or awkward items.
- Experience in water damage restoration and floor care practices is a plus.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Previous work on construction sites demonstrating adherence to safety protocols and site organization.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
