ON-CALL BARTENDER & EVENT CENTER STAFF
We are building our team for Patriots Bar and the opening of the CDA Event Center, and we are looking for the right person to join us in a flexible, on-call role.
This position is ideal for an experienced bartender who enjoys the hospitality industry but is not relying on a guaranteed number of shifts each week.
As we open Patriots Bar and begin booking more events in the CDA Event Center, we anticipate needing additional team members who can step in where needed. This could include filling an open bar shift, covering vacations or call-outs, helping during busy weekends, bartending private events upstairs, or assisting with event setup and breakdown.
This is not your average bartending position. We are building a new team and a new environment from the ground up, and we are looking for people who are dependable, professional, flexible, and willing to jump in wherever they are needed.
WHAT THIS POSITION MAY INCLUDE
- Bartending shifts at Patriots Bar as needed
- Filling in for call-outs, vacations, or additional coverage
- Bartending private and special events in the CDA Event Center
- Event setup and preparation
- Breaking down and resetting the Event Center after events
- Stocking beer, wine, bar supplies, garnishes, and other products
- Opening and closing responsibilities
- Maintaining a clean and organized bar and event space
- Assisting guests and event clients throughout their event
- Light food preparation when needed
- Helping the team wherever needed during busy shifts and events
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who:
- Has bartending and hospitality experience
- Is dependable and communicates well
- Has flexible availability
- Understands that this is an on-call/fill-in position without a guaranteed weekly schedule
- Is comfortable working nights, weekends, holidays, and special events when available
- Can work independently as well as part of a team
- Is comfortable working in both a bar environment and private-event setting
- Takes pride in customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Is willing to help with setup, cleanup, stocking, and other responsibilities beyond simply making drinks
- Can handle a fast-paced environment professionally
- Understands responsible alcohol service and takes it seriously
- Wants to be part of growing something new
The CDA Event Center is just beginning to grow, and as we book more weddings, celebrations, meetings, private parties, and community events, there is potential for this position to grow with us as well.
We are not looking for someone who simply wants to pick up a guaranteed set schedule every week. We are looking for someone who likes flexibility, enjoys events, and wants to be one of the people we can count on when we need additional hands.
