We are a fast-growing, successful, family-owned exterior cleaning company (www.WashMeWindows.com and www.LetItGlowHolidayLights.com) looking for an exceptional Director of Operations to join our leadership team and help take our company to the next level.We specialize in creating exceptional first impressions for homeowners and businesses through window washing, pressure washing, exterior cleaning, and residential and commercial Christmas light installations.
This is not a desk job. We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being around people, takes tremendous pride in their work, and understands that great companies are built by great teams. The Director of Operations will be a key member of our leadership team, working directly with the owner and taking ownership of the day-to-day operations of the company. You will lead from the front, develop people, solve problems, maintain high standards, and ensure our production/field team of technicians consistently delivers an outstanding customer experience.

THE OPPORTUNITY
As Director of Operations, you will be responsible for turning our company's vision into consistent, excellent execution.You will lead our production operation from the field while building the systems, people, culture, and accountability necessary to support continued growth.
You will work closely with the Owner, Sales Team, Production Team, and customers to make sure the promises we make are the results we deliver.
Your job is to make sure our team has what they need to win—and then hold everyone, including yourself, accountable for doing it.
This position requires a leader with character, integrity, confidence, urgency, emotional intelligence, and a genuine desire to develop people.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN.
1. Production & Field OperationsYou will be the leader responsible for ensuring our production team executes at a high level every day.
Responsibilities include:
- Direct and oversee daily production operations
- Be actively involved in the field and lead by example
- Ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, professionally, and to company standards
- Establish and maintain production standards and expectations
- Inspect completed work and ensure quality control
- Troubleshoot job-site challenges and find solutions quickly
- Coordinate schedules, crews, equipment, materials, and job requirements
- Ensure crews arrive prepared, professional, and on time
- Improve production efficiency and profitability
- Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions
- Make sure every job is completed according to the scope of work sold
- Ensure our customers receive an experience that exceeds expectations

4. Sales & Customer Experience
Operations and Sales must work together. You will work closely with our Sales Team to ensure that what is sold is executed properly and that the customer experience remains exceptional from the initial sales conversation through completion of the job.Responsibilities include:
- Communicating with the Sales Team regarding upcoming jobs
- Reviewing job details and scope before production
- Identifying potential production issues before they become customer issues
- Helping solve customer concerns
- Communicating changes or challenges quickly
- Supporting the Sales Team with field knowledge and expertise
- Helping identify opportunities for additional services
- Ensuring production teams understand customer expectations
- Following through on commitments
- Turning satisfied customers into repeat customers and enthusiastic referrals

5. Vehicles, Equipment & Inventory
Our equipment is a major investment and a critical part of our ability to serve customers.You will take ownership of maintaining our fleet, tools, equipment, and supplies.Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining company vehicles
- Coordinating preventative maintenance and repairs
- Keeping vehicles clean, organized, and professional
- Managing tools and equipment
- Maintaining accurate inventory
- Ensuring crews have the necessary supplies to complete their jobs
- Identifying equipment needs before they become emergencies
- Tracking damaged, missing, or worn-out equipment
- Maintaining proper organization of shop, vehicles, and equipment
- Establishing systems to reduce waste and unnecessary purchases
- Ensuring equipment is used safely and properly
