SUMMARY
Verifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Compares identifying information and counts items of outgoing shipments to verify information against orders.
- Unloads trailers with finished goods with forklift.
- Pulls and packs finished goods for deliveries.
- Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Operates lift truck or uses handtruck to move shipments to designated shipping areas.
- Load outgoing freight onto trailer to be moved to storage area.
- Collecting and entering information into company ERP system.
- Computer skills to print sales orders, labels and verifies outbound shipment
- Advise Shipping Lead for any discrepancies prior to shipment being loaded on truck.
- Other duties as assigned.
