Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Program Assistant that supports the daily care, safety, and engagement of older adults and adults with disabilities. This role ensures participants receive compassionate assistance, meaningful activities, and a safe environment throughout the day.
Duties
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients — helping with daily needs and maintaining dignity.
- Work collaboratively with other staff to implement services, activities, and meet individual client needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment.
- Follow all center policies, safety procedures, and training requirements.
- Communicate changes in participant condition to supervisory staff.
Required Qualifications (must meet at least one)
- High school diploma
- 1 year of experience in healthcare or social-service setting (volunteer experience considered)
- Novice candidates considered (center will provide training plus mandatory orientation)
