Spa Receptionist Job Description
As a receptionist at SA Blissful Spa, you will be our clients' first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere. You will handle inquiries, book appointments, check clients in and out, and assist with their needs, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience from the moment they walk through the door.
Appointment Scheduling: Manage appointment bookings efficiently using our scheduling software. Coordinate appointments for various spa services, including facials, waxing and eyebrow and lash tints, while optimizing esthetician schedules and client preferences.
Answering Inquiries: Respond to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries from clients regarding spa services, availability, and pricing. Provide accurate information and assist clients in selecting the most suitable services based on their needs and preferences.
Client Registration: Register new clients in our software system and obtain necessary information, including contact details, credit card numbers, and preferences. Ensure all client records are accurate, up-to-date, and stored securely in compliance with privacy regulations.
Billing and Payments: Process client payments accurately and efficiently using our POS system. Verify payment methods, issue receipts, and handle cash transactions with precision. Assist clients with gift card purchases and billing inquiries.
Retail Sales: Promote and sell spa products to clients based on their needs and preferences. Provide product recommendations, explain features and benefits, and assist clients with product selection to enhance their spa experience and skincare routine.
Client Communication: Communication with clients before and after their appointments to confirm bookings, provide reminders, and gather feedback on their experience. Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests.
Maintain Reception and Retail Area: Keep the reception and retail areas clean, organized, and well-stocked with promotional materials, brochures, and refreshments. Ensure a professional appearance of the reception desk and waiting area at all times.
Collaboration with Spa Staff: Coordinate with spa staff to ensure smooth operations and seamless client transitions. Communicate effectively with colleagues to relay client preferences, special requests, and scheduling changes.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
