Project Manager - Construction
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial and construction projects from planning through closeout. The successful candidate will manage general contractor relationships, control schedules and budgets, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and deliver projects that meet client expectations. This role requires strong technical knowledge of construction methods, commercial construction experience, and proven ability to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder programs.
Key Responsibilities

Lead full project lifecycle delivery for construction and commercial projects, including hotels, casinos, and wastewater facilities.

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cash flow forecasts; track progress and implement corrective actions to meet milestones.

Manage relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, design teams and vendors; oversee procurement and subcontract administration.

Administer contracts, change orders, and claims; ensure compliance with contract terms and coordinate dispute resolution when needed.

Coordinate interdisciplinary teams (structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, wastewater systems) to ensure proper integration and sequencing of work.

Implement and enforce site safety programs and quality control procedures in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Prepare regular project reports, meeting minutes, and presentations for clients, senior management, and stakeholders.

Identify, assess and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans to maintain schedule and budget integrity.

Oversee commissioning, system testing and project closeout activities, including punch lists, documentation, warranties and training.

Foster client relationships and drive client satisfaction while ensuring commercial objectives and profitability are achieved.

Mentor and develop junior staff and on-site teams to build project delivery capability and maintain consistent standards.
Qualifications

5+ years of progressive project management experience in construction and commercial projects; demonstrated experience on hotel, casino or wastewater projects preferred.

Experience working with or as a General Contractor (GC) and managing subcontractor scopes and contracts.

Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, change management and contract administration.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, MEP coordination, wastewater systems and building systems integration.

Familiarity with construction contracts and standard forms (AIA, EPC, GC contracts) and regulatory compliance requirements.

Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore or similar) and MS Office suite.

Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, LEED or OSHA 30 are a plus.

Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with a client-focused mindset.

Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
