Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and monitor proper accounting controls to ensure accuracy.
- Rationalize the chart of accounts.
- Lead preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Prepare reconciliations and quarterly balance sheet reviews.
- Oversee processing of standard tax filings.
- Create actionable financial reports and cash flow analysis.
- Implement and enforce controls to eliminate waste and reduce the risk of fraud.
Employment Details:
- Expected commitment: 15 to 30 hours per week depending on the number of engagements and respective scopes. Compensation: Competitive hourly rate that will flex based on experience and engagement requirements and pricing
- Location: Hybrid, with a mix of remote work and onsite meetings at the office (Keiter’s office) or at client sites as business needs require.
- Training and Ongoing Support: Receive technical training and obtain CPE credits as required.
- Member of a Highly Respected Team: Work within a team led by two Finance & Accounting professionals with a combined 50+ years of related experience.

Preferred
- CPA is a plus but not mandatory.
- 7+ years of Public or Corporate accounting experience.
- Held a position as a Controller or Assistant Controller (Corporate role) or a Manager/Director/Partner (Public accounting role).
- Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar general ledger systems.
- Highly proficient with Excel.
- Strong technical accounting and financial skills.
- Demonstrated success as a leader.
