About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter to join our growing team on projects throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a genuine career path with room for advancement — not just a job.
What You'll Do
- Install fire sprinkler systems — including wet, dry, and pre-action systems— in commercial and residential settings
- Read and interpret install fire protection drawings and construction drawings to determine pipe layout and installation requirements
- Fabricate, assemble, and install fire sprinkler components in accordance with NFPA codes and project specifications
- Thread, groove, weld, or solder pipe joints as needed to ensure a proper installation
- Daily communication with A&E’s foreman, general contractors, and other trades on-site to ensure project execution
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA regulations
- Represent A&E Fire Protection professionally in interactions with clients and site personnel
What We're Looking For
- Journeyman-level experience as a Sprinkler Fitter, with working knowledge of NFPA 13 and fire sprinkler installation standards
- Minimum age of 18
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
- Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or at heights
- Proficient with hand tools, threading machines, and other pipefitting equipment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physically able to lift 50–75 lbs regularly and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Able to work in varied conditions, including heat, cold, confined spaces, and elevated areas
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of a fire sprinkler apprenticeship program (e.g., through UA or ABC)
- Sprinkler Journeyman License
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certification

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
