Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Clinical Supervisor with a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential to lead our behavioral health team. Duties
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to social workers, counselors, and therapy staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards
- Oversee patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for individuals with various mental health needs
- Lead individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Manage crisis intervention situations promptly and effectively, ensuring safety and stabilization for clients experiencing acute distress or trauma such as PTSD or Alzheimer's care challenges
- Coordinate care plans integrating home and community-based services, hospital care, and case management to support clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or other complex needs
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems
- Conduct regular staff meetings to review clinical progress, data collection efforts, and quality assurance initiatives
- Facilitate training on medical terminology, patient care protocols, behavioral health interventions, and cultural competency to enhance team expertise
Experience
- Licensed as an LCSW with extensive experience in behavioral health settings
- Proven supervisory experience managing clinical teams within mental health or social work environments
- Demonstrated expertise in providing psychotherapy across diverse modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), group therapy, and individual counseling
- Strong background in crisis management, crisis intervention techniques, and working with individuals experiencing trauma or acute psychiatric episodes
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in home or community settings; familiarity with pediatrics preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions such as PTSD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Alzheimer’s disease, and addiction counseling
- Skilled in case management practices including intake assessments, patient evaluation, treatment planning, and data collection for quality improvement
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation purposes; understanding of HIPAA compliance standards is essential
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively while fostering a collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care
