Position Summary
Trades Connector is seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to support commercial construction and industrial projects. This position involves assisting skilled trades, maintaining safe and organized jobsites, and performing a variety of general labor tasks as directed by the site supervisor. Assignments may vary by project and can range from site cleanup and material handling to basic assembly and general support duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction and industrial jobsite activities.
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Remove debris and dispose of waste materials in designated areas.
- Perform basic assembly, installation, or setup tasks as assigned.
- Support skilled tradespeople by preparing work areas and delivering materials.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely.
- Follow all company, client, and OSHA safety requirements.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Report safety concerns, damaged equipment, or jobsite issues to the supervisor. Perform other general labor duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous construction, industrial, warehouse, or general labor experience.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from assigned job sites.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the workday.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to safely work around construction equipment and active jobsites.
Work Environment
Work is performed on active commercial construction and industrial job sites. Employees must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all site-specific safety policies and procedures.
