Job Overview
We are a busy, upscale salon in downtown Detroit and we are looking for someone who takes pride in keeping a clean and welcoming environment for our clients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the salon throughout the day and/or at closing
- Sweep throughout the day and mop the floors nightly
- Clean bathrooms and common areas
- Empty trash and recycling daily
- Dust and wipe down surfaces throughout the day
- Clean mirrors, glass, and high-touch areas
- Keep up with laundry (towels, capes, aprons, smocks)
- Clean mixing bowls, toner bottles, color brushes, and whisks throughout the day
Requirements
- Reliable and dependable
- Able to work independently and efficiently
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete daily cleaning routines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced salon environment
- Professional and respectful attitude

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
