Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Ground Crew Member (Ground Guy) and part time climber to assist our tree crew in daily operations. The Ground Crew plays a crucial support role in our field operations, helping to ensure safe and efficient job site activity.
Ground Crew Responsibilities:
- Assist climbers and crew members during tree removal and pruning operations.
- Safely operate chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other equipment.
- Drag, stack, and clean up brush and debris.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Follow all safety procedures and directions from crew leaders.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment.
- Perform general labor duties as assigned.
Tree Climber Responsibilities:
- Climb trees using ropes, saddles, and other approved climbing equipment.
- Prune and remove trees safely and efficiently.
- Perform rigging and lowering operations.
- Operate chainsaws aloft while following safety standards.
- Assess trees and identify potential hazards.
- Communicate effectively with ground crew members.
- Maintain climbing gear and equipment.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Washington State Driver’s License
- Must be clean and sober – substance-free workplace
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs)
- Comfortable using hand tools and power equipment
- Punctual, dependable, and a team player
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Prior experience in tree work, landscaping, or construction is a plus but not required

- Outdoor, physically demanding work
