Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN or LPN Charge Nurse to join our team of "Lifeguards" at Lake Stockton. As a respected Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating resident care activities while ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services by an exceptional caregiving team. This is a full-time position with great benefits including free health insurance and opportunities for career growth.
Duties:
- Provide direct resident care and assist with various medical procedures
- Monitor and assess resident conditions, including vital signs and symptoms
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement resident care plans
- Supervise and mentor nursing team, providing guidance and support
- Maintain accurate resident records and documentation
- Respond to emergencies and provide immediate medical assistance as needed
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in Missouri
- Strong knowledge of patient/resident care principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to work well within a team
