Duties
- Prepare fresh vegetables, fruits, and other salad ingredients using proper slicing techniques and knife skills to ensure consistent quality and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salad prep area, adhering to food safety management standards
- Follow safety standards in food production and handling to prevent contamination and ensure guest safety
- Monitor inventory levels of salad ingredients and communicate supply needs for timely replenishment
- Support catering events or special meal preparations by assisting with food assembly and presentation
- Serve and prep desserts following a recipe
- Assuring the dessert bar is maintained in a cleanly and organized manner
Requirements
- Food preparation, cooking, or restaurant experience demonstrating strong kitchen skills and food industry knowledge
- Familiarity with food safety standards in production environments and proper food handling techniques
- Proficiency with knife skills, slicing techniques, and general culinary practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members
