Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshooting of HVAC/R systems, including electrical systems, refrigeration units, boilers, and building automation systems.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on HVAC equipment using hand tools, electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters, and specialized equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, electrical connections, and control systems in accordance with schematics and HVAC design specifications.
- Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and building automation system diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed service reports, logs of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for each job.
- Assist in training junior technicians when needed and stay current with industry standards, codes (including EPA certifications), and new technologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC/R systems with a strong background in mechanical systems repair and installation.
- Construction experience is preferred to understand building frameworks and integration of HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics interpretation, electrical diagnostics, plumbing, refrigeration cycles, boiler operation, and appliance repair.
- Proficiency with hand tools, electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters, refrigerant recovery equipment, and other diagnostic tools.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus.
- EPA certification for refrigerant handling is required; additional certifications related to HVAC/R are advantageous.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments while maintaining high safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
