Responsibilities
Assist senior plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites.
Learn to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and building codes to ensure accurate pipe installation and system compliance.
Handle hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding tools safely and effectively under supervision.
Participate in site preparation activities, including measuring, cutting, fitting pipes, and assembling plumbing components.
Support the inspection of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform basic repairs or maintenance tasks.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and OSHA standards to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized work area and assist with inventory management of tools and materials.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework or prior construction experience is a plus.
Strong interest in construction plumbing, mechanical systems, or related trades.
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical drawings.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment safely and responsibly.
Willingness to learn welding techniques and how to read blueprints accurately.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service when interacting with team members or clients.
Commitment to safety protocol adherence and building code compliance on all projects.
