Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Piano Teacher to inspire students of all ages and skill levels to discover the joy of music through the piano. In this role, you will design engaging lessons that foster musical growth, technical proficiency, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts. Duties
- Develop customized curriculum plans tailored to each student’s age, skill level, and learning style, incorporating elements of music theory, sight-reading, and performance techniques
- Conduct individual piano lessons in our Magnolia studio or students' homes in the Magnolia, Ballard, Queen Anne neighborhoods
- Prepare students for biannual recitals
- Maintain accurate records of lesson progress and attendance
Qualifications
- A strong musical background, with preference given to past music teaching experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate learners of all ages while fostering a love for music and self-expression
