Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Piano Teacher to inspire students of all ages and skill levels to discover the joy of music through the piano. Duties
- Develop customized curriculum plans tailored to each student’s age, skill level, and learning style, incorporating elements of music theory, sight-reading, and performance techniques
- Conduct individual piano lessons in our Magnolia studio or students' homes in the Magnolia, Ballard, Queen Anne neighborhoods
- Prepare students for biannual recitals
- Maintain accurate records of lesson progress and attendance
Qualifications
- A strong musical background, with preference given to past music teaching experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate learners of all ages while fostering a love for music and self-expression
