Electronic Repair Technician - This is NOT an IT position
L&R Ultrasonics, a leader in manufacturing and sales of ultrasonic systems is seeking an experienced Electronic Repair Technician to join our growing team. This candidate will assist in the development of new/updated electronic systems, components/products.
(but not limited to):
· Repair/install/inspect electronics as directed
· Determine material/replacement needs and method for repair
· Create/adapt parts to make repairs and improve performance
· Perform safety checks on design plans
· Report potentially dangerous electrical equipment, takes steps to resolve the issue
· Instruct employees regarding safety when working with electronics
· Develop/maintain records related to electronic and electrical equipment
· Perform other related duties as assigned
· Thorough understanding of electronic principles and design
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
· Detail oriented and organized
· Excellent problem-solving ability
· Ability to follow highly complex directions
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Electronic Technician certification or comparable
Must be able to lift 35-50 lbs
Ability to distinguish various colors of wires, as well as distinguish electronic system sections and wiring
