We’re hiring a JobBOSS Scheduler to keep production moving and customer commitments on track. In this role, you’ll build and maintain schedules in JobBOSS, balance work center capacity, monitor job progress, and coordinate with production, purchasing, engineering, and customer service to support on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Build, update, and maintain production schedules in JobBOSS based on demand, priority, material availability, labor capacity, and machine load.
- Manage work orders, routings, job travelers, and due dates to support accurate shop floor scheduling.
- Balance schedules across work centers, machines, and labor resources to improve flow and throughput.
- Adjust schedules to address shortages, downtime, expedited orders, and shifting customer priorities.
- Monitor job status and communicate schedule changes, risks, and priorities to key stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate scheduling data in JobBOSS to support visibility, reporting, and decision-making.
- Use scheduling reports and system tools to identify bottlenecks and support on-time delivery.
- Partner cross-functionally to improve schedule accuracy, resource utilization, and overall production performance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in production scheduling, manufacturing planning, or shop floor coordination.
- Experience with JobBOSS or a similar manufacturing ERP system strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of work orders, routings, work centers, job status tracking, and due date management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with scheduling and production data.
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a job shop, machine shop, fabrication, or make-to-order manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of finite or infinite scheduling, capacity planning, and production load balancing.
- Familiarity with JobBOSS planning boards, scheduling tools, and manufacturing reporting.
- Ability to identify bottlenecks, evaluate alternatives, and make practical scheduling recommendations.
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience is a plus.
Work Environment
This position typically works in an office, plant, warehouse, or operations environment and may require frequent communication with multiple departments. The role may involve balancing competing priorities and responding quickly to schedule changes.
Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
