Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs during labor.
Assist in the delivery process and provide immediate postnatal care.
Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.
Evaluate and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly.
Achieve performance targets and contribute to team success.
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop individualized care plans.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.
Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately and timely.
Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance care quality.
Maintain high visibility of work activities and results.
Experience/Qualifications
Current RN license with experience in labor and delivery nursing.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Strong understanding of fetal monitoring techniques and maternal health.
Proven ability to respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions.
Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control measures.
Ability to educate patients and families on care procedures effectively.
Strong documentation skills for patient care activities and outcomes.
Ability to work in a high-visibility, results-driven environment.
Experience in collaborative care planning with healthcare teams.
Experience with performance improvement initiatives in healthcare.
