ROLE IMPACT
Join a fast-paced, collaborative law office supporting clients through some of life's most important transitions. This role is ideal for an experienced Family Law Paralegal who thrives in a high-volume environment and enjoys working alongside multiple attorneys and legal professionals. You'll primarily support one Family Law Attorney while assisting additional Family Law attorneys as needed, managing approximately 60 active cases, with caseloads increasing to 60–80 cases during peak periods. This position is approximately 60% client communication and case management and 40% drafting legal documents, making strong communication skills and exceptional drafting experience essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Draft and prepare family law documents, including petitions, motions, pleadings, discovery, divorce decrees, custody modifications, child support matters, adoption documents, mediation materials, and other court filings.

Manage an active caseload while maintaining deadlines, attorney calendars, court appearances, mediations, depositions, and client files.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely updates, answering questions, collecting client payments, and delivering outstanding customer service throughout the legal process.

Prepare and review discovery responses, disclosure statements, interrogatories, requests for production, and supporting documentation.

Maintain accurate case records and collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case progression.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required: At least 3 years of experience supporting family law attorneys as a Family Law Paralegal.

Demonstrated experience drafting a wide range of family law documents with minimal supervision and the ability to consistently bill 8 productive hours per day.

Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship skills, with experience successfully managing both standard and high-volume family law caseloads.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Experience handling divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, mediation, and related family law matters.
