Shih Applied Behavior Analysis (SABA) is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based ABA services to children, teens, and young adults (ages 2–21) with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, epilepsy, Down syndrome, and other developmental needs. Our services are delivered in homes, clinics, and community settings, with all programs supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs) in accordance with BACB standards.

Job Description
We are seeking Behavior Technicians II(BTs) to provide in-home and clinic-based ABA therapy services throughout the San Gabriel Valley and Pomona areas, serving children and families within these local communities.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group ABA therapy in home and/or clinic settings
- Implement established goals and follow treatment protocols designed by the BCBA to support clients' progress
- Collect data and document session notes using electronic systems
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support client progress
- Must be able to reliably attend sessions daily/weekly schedules
- Help kids learn essential life skills such as motor skills, social skills, emotional skills and more
- Participate in supervision and training as required by the BACB
- Adhering to ethical guidelines and professional standards of behavior analysis
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working with children with special needs (autism, early intervention, special education, etc.)
- High school diploma or GED required; some college or degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
- Ability to pass a DOJ background check and provide a negative TB test
- Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and proof of auto insurance
- Willing to commute up to 30 miles between sessions (drive time paid at minimum wage)
- Basic proficiency with technology (smartphone/tablet)
- Bilingual a plus
- Split shift premium available based on scheduling needs and job requirements
Compensation & Benefits:
- Paid drive time between clients and mileage reimbursement
- Paid sick leave in accordance with California and Los Angeles regulations

Schedule
Hours of operation: Monday - Friday 8:00am-8:00pm and Saturdays 8:00am-8:00pm
- Minimum 10–15 hours per week, available at least 3–4 days
- Required availability: Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. (high-demand scheduling slot
- Shifts scheduled based on client needs and staff availability
- Employees manage their time between sessions and arrive punctually for all sessions
- Sessions may be consecutive or spaced out, sometimes with breaks due to cancellations
- Classification: Non-exempt (hourly); eligible for overtime per California law
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and engage with clients during sessions
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally (materials or equipment)
- Ability to manage physical interaction with clients when necessary for clinical purposes, following safety guidelines and protocols
Work Location
- In-person sessions provided in client homes and/or clinic within San Gabriel/Pomona City limits
- Travel between client locations required; reliable transportation is a must
