We are looking for a full-time in-house floor covering sales associate to join our team. This associate would work out of our established floor covering store located in Cheektowaga and would be responsible for the following:
- Present a thorough knowledge of our vast lines of LVT, hardwood and carpet to potential customers.
- Perform measures in customers' homes to ensure adequate material is ordered to complete the job.
- Identify potential issues at the time of measure so they can be addressed with the homeowner before installation date.
- Work with vendor representatives to ensure the best pricing possible and place material orders for their jobs.
- Work with an array of subcontractors to schedule the various parts of their jobs to ensure that the installation goes off without any issues.
- Field any customer issues after the point of sale or installation.
This position offers a full salary of $50,000.00 annually negotiable commission and company match 401K. A vehicle allowance for fuel and wear items is also included in this position. At least 2 years of floor covering sales/ general sales experience is required to be considered for this position.
