Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Licensed Acupuncturist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality acupuncture care, thrives in a collaborative integrative setting, and shares our dedication to empowering patients on their wellness journey. This position offers flexible scheduling with part-time and full-time options available.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient intake assessments, including health history review and evaluation of presenting conditions
- Develop and implement individualized acupuncture treatment plans based on patient needs and traditional and evidence-based principles
- Administer acupuncture and related modalities, which may include cupping, moxibustion, and/or electro-acupuncture
- Educate and counsel patients on treatment goals, lifestyle modifications, and wellness strategies to support optimal health outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and clinic standards
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, naturopathic doctors, and other healthcare providers to coordinate integrative patient care
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and professional practice standards
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development activities
Requirements
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Acupuncture or Oriental Medicine (MAc, MSOM, DAc, or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- Current and unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc)
- National certification through the National Certification Board for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (NCBAHM) required for NV OMD license
- Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse patient population
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
