The Anderson Company, LLC, a site development company for over 27 years is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Loader Operator. We operate in the DC metro area.
Essential functions:
- Perform rough grading to prepare surfaces according to project specifications and site plans.
- Accurately follow grade stakes, elevations, and instructions for proper material placement and grading.
- Perform daily pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Conduct routine maintenance and promptly report any mechanical issues or needed repairs.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure the safety of crew members, pedestrians, and other equipment operators.
- Assist with general labor tasks on the jobsite when equipment is not in use.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, and other operators to coordinate work activities.
- Follow direction from supervisors or superintendents and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Keep equipment clean and in good working condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with the crew team and supervisors.
- Must have reliable transportation to get to the jobsite.
- At least 1-2 years of experience running a loader in a construction site.
