Join Our Team as a Physical Therapy Assistant Wellness Consultant!
We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team as a Wellness Consultant for a PRN opportunity in the Torrance area.
In this independent contractor role, you'll work directly with wonderful individuals with developmental disabilities at their adult day program, helping them thrive through engaging, personalized activities focused on functional mobility, strength and range of motion, independent living skills, fine motor coordination, home safety, and adaptive equipment training — all while building meaningful connections along the way.
You'll design and guide activity plans, deliver hands-on interventions to support each participant's wellbeing, and track their progress over time, all while collaborating closely with day program staff to support the physical, mental, and social wellness of program attendees.
This position offers flexible scheduling: candidates may select one day per week (Monday through Friday) to work from 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., totaling 4 hours weekly.
