Responsibilities
- Perform professional manicure and pedicure treatments, including gel manicures and nail care routines that meet client preferences.
- Apply nail extensions using acrylic or other techniques to enhance natural nails with precision and artistry.
- Conduct esthetic services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, dermabrasion, and hair threading to provide comprehensive beauty solutions.
- Educate clients on nail health, color theory, and aftercare to promote ongoing nail care and maintenance.
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired look, offer recommendations, and upsell retail products like nail polishes or skincare items.
- Stay current with industry trends in nail art, gel application, and new techniques to continually elevate service quality.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Strong knowledge of nail extensions, acrylic application, gel manicures, and sanitation standards.
- Familiarity with color theory principles to assist clients in selecting complementary shades.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Experience in retail sales of beauty products is a plus for upselling opportunities.
- Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing required where applicable; additional training in hair styling or barbering is advantageous.
- Ability to maintain a clean workspace while following all salon safety protocols for disinfection and sanitation procedures.
