Role Overview
We are looking for a commercially driven builder to create and scale a global digital commerce business covering both direct-to-consumer (DTC) and B2B channels.
This is not a traditional e-commerce management role. You will start from a blank page, work alongside senior leadership to shape the roadmap, and build a portfolio of digital businesses with full responsibility for performance.
The focus of this role is commercial ownership, growth, and value creation. You will lead go-to-market strategy, pricing, and P&L performance across both DTC and B2B, while leveraging external partners and a lean internal team to execute on platforms, integrations, and digital operations.
Key Responsibilities
Build and Lead a New Digital Business Unit
- Establish and develop a global digital commerce business from the ground up across DTC and B2B channels
- Define clear priorities, structure, and roadmap in alignment with senior leadership
- Create scalable foundations that support long-term growth across markets
Contribute to and Execute the Digital Commerce Strategy
- Partner with senior leadership to refine and execute the global DTC and B2B digital sales roadmap
- Translate strategic direction into clear, actionable plans and priorities
- Provide market insight and feedback to continuously strengthen the strategy
Own Commercial Performance and P&L
- Take full responsibility for revenue growth, profitability, and cost control across digital channels
- Define pricing strategies, margin structures, and customer value propositions for both DTC and B2B
- Set and track performance metrics across markets and channels
Drive Go-To-Market and Demand Generation
- Lead customer acquisition strategy across search, marketplaces, and digital channels
- Identify and unlock new demand opportunities beyond existing sales channels
- Ensure strong alignment between brand positioning, product offering, and customer needs
Launch and Scale Digital Brands and Platforms
- Lead the rollout and development of new digital brands and the B2B commerce platform across priority markets
- Adapt timing and sequencing based on market opportunities, resources, and performance
- Ensure each initiative is structured for scalability and long-term growth
Build and Orchestrate the Execution Model
- Select and manage external agencies and technology partners (Shopify Plus, ERP integrations, and performance marketing agencies)
- Build a lean internal team over time as the business scales
- Ensure effective coordination with regional sales teams for localization, customer alignment, and pricing structures
Work Cross-Functionally Across the Group
- Collaborate with regional teams to align digital initiatives with local market realities
- Ensure alignment with operations, supply chain, and ERP systems (SAP Business One)
- Support decision-making through clear reporting and performance visibility
Global Market Engagement
- Travel internationally to validate market opportunities, coordinate with partners and regional teams, and support key launches
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, agencies, and regional teams across priority markets
Profile
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital business, or multi-channel commercial roles, with a strong track record of delivering commercial results
- Proven experience owning or significantly influencing P&L performance
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate strategy into revenue and margin growth
- Proven experience launching or scaling digital businesses, brands, or platforms
- Hands-on experience building and scaling on Shopify Plus, with a strong understanding of integrations, data flows, and platform architecture
- Strong technical and operational understanding of digital commerce platforms and ecosystems, with the ability to effectively lead and challenge agencies and technical partners
- Experience in B2B digital commerce (pricing structures, customer-specific conditions, ERP integration) is a strong advantage
- Mandatory experience working across multiple countries or regions, with the ability to adapt strategies to different markets
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable building from zero and operating with ambiguity

It is not a pure technical or platform management role.
You are not expected to personally manage every CMS, integration, or line of code.
Your success will come from making the right commercial decisions, building the right structure, and assembling and leading the right team to execute across both DTC and B2B environments.
It also requires identifying and scaling the right demand generation strategies, across search, marketplaces, and digital marketing channels, adapted to each priority market.

- Competitive base salary in the range of $160,000 to $180,000, with meaningful annual bonus potential based on revenue and EBITDA performance.

Recruitment Process
The recruitment process will include four steps:
- First video interview with the Group HR Manager.
- Second video interview with the Group HR Manager and Shane Solomon, Global Sales & Marketing Director.
- Third interview with the Executive Committee (CODIR) and Shane.
- Final in-person interview with Shane to finalize the overall assessment.
