Fann Contracting is Looking for experienced asphalt paving personnel. Training is available for career minded, enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to assist in building roads and highways throughout Arizona. These are full-time, permanent positions with FREE cross training available. We offer great pay and excellent benefits; the longer you stay employed with us, the better your benefits! PAY:
- $25.00 to $33.60 per hour (or more) to start depending upon level of experience
- Subsistence (Travel Pay) available: $75 to $85 per day when out of the Prescott Area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Team pre-shift preparations for production paving on interstate highways
- Safely and skillfully operates heavy highway paving equipment
- Gathers and organizes rakes, shovels and other equipment for the shift
- Assist with setting up the paver and other equipment for production work
- Use shovels, rakes, brooms, and/or other hand tools
- Direct traffic, as needed (assists with traffic control)
- Assist others and equipment operators, as needed
- Assist with minor equipment maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Being a team player to learn everything possible relating to paving operations
REQUIREMENTS:
- General knowledge of the hot asphalt paving process, construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Must be punctual, a strong work ethic, and maintain a good attendance record.
- Must be able to work as a team on all projects
- Lift/move up to 50+ lbs.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Work overtime, nights including some occasional weekends
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Reliable transportation with good driver’s license
- Willing to travel/work out of town
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
