Duties
- Construct and install formwork for concrete pouring using hand tools and power tools, ensuring accuracy according to blueprints and technical drawings
- Interpret blueprint specifications and technical drawings to execute precise formwork and rebar placement
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, equipment operation, and construction workplace regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on concrete forming and laboring roles
- Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment operation, and concrete mixing machinery
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately
- Knowledge of construction estimating principles and safety regulations within the industry
- Skilled in rebar installation, concrete cutting, pouring, finishing, and formwork construction
- Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
- Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times
- Experience with metal stud framing, flooring installation or stucco application is a plus
