Job Overview
Entry-level technicians support freight security operations at rail hub facilities by applying and removing security locking devices on rail shipments. No prior rail experience required; training and required certifications are provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply and remove rail security locking devices on rail shipments
- Monitor a rail provided dashboard for work assignments
- Log work activity using rail provided computer terminal operating systems
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Attention to detail when performing repetitive tasks.• Ability to multitask.
- Eighteen years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to communicate effectively over the phone.
- Active listening skills
- Computer experience and aptitude
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on feet for an extended period of time.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
- Commitment to embrace innovation, technology, and continued growth.
- Background in a customer service or call center is preferred.
Pay Range: $18-$20 Hour
