Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Foreman to lead and oversee mechanical construction projects. Duties
- Lead and manage mechanical crews on construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.
- Review blueprints, technical drawings, and construction documents to accurately interpret project requirements.
- Coordinate construction schedules to ensure timely project delivery.
- Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems including pipelines, HVAC units, and other heavy equipment.
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure materials and services meet project standards and deadlines.
- Oversee on-site safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and enforce OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with a focus on mechanical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction schedules effectively.
- Supervisory experience managing teams in a fast-paced construction environment with excellent crew management skills.
- Familiarity with federal and local construction safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Hands-on experience with construction site activities including blueprint reading, quality control inspections, and safety compliance.
- Proficiency in using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and managing construction budgets.
