Duties
- Inspect and troubleshoot pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, heaters, and other equipment to identify issues quickly and accurately
- Perform repairs on pool equipment using hand tools and power tools, ensuring all systems operate efficiently
- Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, balancing water chemistry, and inspecting pool surfaces
- Handle water treatment chemicals safely and accurately to maintain proper pool chemistry levels
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, and equipment to job sites across outdoor settings
- Assist with the installation of new pool components and upgrade existing systems to improve functionality
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs needed and maintenance schedules
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in pool plumbing systems and equipment troubleshooting
- Proficiency in handling chemical agents used in water treatment and pool chemistry balancing
- Knowledge of aquatic facility operations, including water treatment chemical handling and routine maintenance procedures
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively
- Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with a focus on safety and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles responsibly
