We are seeking a reliable and professional Medical Courier/Delivery Driver to transport prescriptions and pharmaceutical products between pharmacy locations and directly to patients or medical facilities as independent contractors.
Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver prescriptions, medications, and medical supplies accurately and on time
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain required signatures
- Handle sensitive materials with confidentiality and care
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Communicate professionally with pharmacy staff and patients
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle (proof of insurance required)
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to drive 50 miles /day
- Should have full coverage personal insurance or commercial insurance $1M GL with up to $25k-$50k cargo coverage and willing to make Daisy Blossom an insurer
Vehicle preferred any of the following:
- Cargo van
- Sprinter van
- Box truck
- SUV
- Sedan
Note: All vehicles used for medical courier operations must be model year 2012 upwards.
Certifications
HIPAA and AHA Bloodborne Pathogen (required) must be valid and legitimate by accredited organization. Drivers who do not have the certification must obtain it before the start date. Certification will be reimbursed after 30 days of employment.
Schedule for drivers: Monday–Friday; occasional weekends
Compensation: $18–$22/hr + $0.58-$0.60/mile (depending on experience & certifications)
